Tell us a little bit about your current role.
I manage the company's ERP Operations and head a functional and technical consultants group. I used to be a functional consultant. But now, I primarily work on managing Operations and the team and providing project oversight.
What got you on the path to MB-300 training?
We help customers worldwide with implementing Microsoft D365 Finance and SCM. So, having our consultants certified ensures we are capable of supporting our partners. It adds credibility to our consultants, too, showcasing to prospective clients that we have certified consultants within our company. We also wanted to invest in our consultants by giving them formal training and taking certification exams afterwards.
What was your training experience like?
I no longer handle customer tickets nowadays, but it's great for me to undergo this training to get updated with the latest ERP application we are handling. The topic was challenging for me, but it's a good thing the trainer was patient in explaining things and answering our questions. The program is designed to cater to attendees (like me) with zero or less exposure to the topic.
Any key takeaways from the training that stuck with you even today?
Aside from the online training, which is very convenient to us, I also appreciate the trainer giving us tips on certain topics that will most likely appear in the certification exam. And he also adjusted the amount of time on topics where he felt we needed more time digesting them.
How has the training impacted your work?
The training pushed me to do personal readings to keep up with the learning sessions. And it guided me through the core and basic features of the ERP application that we are handling. With this, I can easily understand any issue escalated to my level, giving me more confidence in talking to our customers and prospective clients.
How has the training impacted the business?
It gives our company additional credibility when talking to prospects that we send our consultants to formal training and that they get certified.
Have you gotten other ICT training before?
No, it's our first training, and luckily, we had it with Lumify.
How strongly would you recommend Lumify to other businesses? Why?
I will send the rest of our consultants to MB-330 and MB-310 training with Lumify by next year. Passing the certification exam clearly shows that the training is effective. And personally, it gives me the push and guidance that I needed.
