The ITIL 4 Specialist: High-Velocity IT (HVIT) course is designed to enable practitioners to explore the ways in which digital organisations and digital operating models function in high-velocity environments. It will help aspiring organisations to operate in a similar way to successful digitally-native organisations. This course addresses the specifics of digital transformation and helps organisations to evolve towards a convergence of business and technology, or to establish a new digital organisation.

This course includes the use of working practices such as Agile and Lean, and technical practices and technologies such as Cloud, Automation, and Automatic Testing, focusing on rapid delivery of products and services to obtain maximum value.

The course includes the primary activities in the digital value chain, including what the practitioner does and the resources they use across the lifecycle of digital products to make the right digital investments, realise and deliver resilient digital products and services quickly, ensure that the service consumer realises value from those products and services, assure the conformance of activities with governance, risk, and compliance requirements.

The ITIL 4 HVIT course is part of the ITIL 4 Managing Professional (MP) Designation, which provides practical and technical knowledge about how to run successful IT-enabled services, teams and workflows.

This course includes a digital copy of the ITIL HVIT Official Guidance handbook, containing practical material for reference back in the workplace.

Examination
This course pricing includes a voucher for the ITIL 4 High-Velocity IT (HVIT) Exam, which is an online proctored exam through PeopleCert. It is a 90-minute closed book exam consisting of 40 multiple choice questions, with a pass mark of 70% (28/40). Practice exam papers and questions are provided in the course, and reviewed to assist in preparation.

After passing the exam, each student’s certificate will be made available to them via PeopleCert.

It is highly recommended that you spend some time each evening of this course reviewing and consolidating what you’ve learned, to be well prepared for the exam.
