Partnered with the Commvault Professional Foundations course, this two-day instructor-led course delves into advanced configurations, such as:

How to deploy Commvault environment components
How to configure advanced options relating to:
Storage
Deduplication
Storage policies
Advanced media management

This course is geared towards users who administer their Commvault environment using the CommCell® console. Users who use the Commvault Command Center™ will learn how to apply advanced options available in the CommCell Console, including deployment of environment components and advanced configuration options.

This training course is run by Commvault, utilising a Commvault trainer.

Exam

The Commvault Professional Advanced Exam is included as part of this course. The exam validates the skills required to deploy and configure advanced options in a CommCell environment using the CommCell Console. It proves a professional level skill set in the areas of deployment of CommCell Core Components, Storage Advanced Configuration, and Storage Policies.

The exam is 75 minutes in duration and consists of 30 questions. A passing grade is 75% (23 correct answers).

Passing both this Advanced Exam and the Foundations Exam will result in obtaining the Commvault Certified Professional certification.
