Why study this course

The Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT®) certification is framework agnostic and the only IT governance certification for the individual. Whether you’re seeking a new career opportunity or striving to grow within your current organisation, CGEIT proves your expertise in enterprise IT governance, resources, benefits, and risk optimisation.

As the first and only designation to recognise skilled IT governance professionals, ISACA’s Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) certification can give you the comprehensive know-how to assess organisational needs and risk appetite, the mindset and confidence to gain buy-in from upper management for IT initiatives, and the ability to shift the perception of IT to a value centre.

The CGEIT Exam Preparation course is an intensive, four-day review program to prepare individuals who are planning to sit for the Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) exam. The course focuses on the key points covered in the CGEIT Review Manual and includes class lectures, group discussions, exam practice and answer debriefs. The course is intended for individuals with familiarity with and experience in IT and enterprise risk management.

This course includes a digital courseware manual and access to the CGEIT Questions, Answers and Explanations (QAE) database for 12 months.

As this is the latest version of CGEIT, this course is run over four days to ensure we can dedicate enough time to each of the four domains.

Please note: The exam is not included in the course fee but can be purchased separately. Please contact us for a quote.

What you’ll learn

  • Reduce risk: CGEITs have the knowledge and experience necessary to support and advance the I&T governance of an enterprise and ensure its IT and business systems align with optimal effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Create a common language: CGEITs have the ability to translate the board’s vision throughout the organisation down to the operational levels.

  • Drive business successes: From optimising resources to developing strategies and prioritising initiatives, a CGEIT delivers tailored I&T governance systems to maximise the value IT delivers to the business.

  • Be prepared: Effective I&T governance can set the right processes and procedures in place for business continuity planning and disaster recovery.

  • Getting CGEIT holders in key roles can assure boards and upper management that the company can get through challenging times with minimal disruption.
