Who should join CloudUp?
CloudUp was created for people who:
aim to achieve an AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
don’t have the ability to study full-time due to work commitments
want a flexible way of learning
prefer studying as part of a motivating and supportive community
There is no pre-requisite knowledge required to join - the Cloud Practitioner course is great for those new to tech or new to the AWS Cloud.
Exam and certification
To round out your knowledge there are optional exam prep sessions you can attend. To keep connected during the program, there is a Discussion Forum on our learning platform for Q&As.
At the end of the 8 weeks, you will book to take your AWS Cloud Practitioner exam and participate in a graduation event.
The exam voucher is only included for participants based in Australia and New Zealand.
Time commitment required
All CloudUp events are optional, but to ensure you have the depth of knowledge required to pass the exam, you should set aside approximately 1-2 hours per week. This commitment would include self-paced online modules and online Q&A sessions.

This course shows you the fundamentals of building IT infrastructure on the AWS platform. You will learn how to optimise the AWS Cloud by understanding AWS services and how they fit into cloud-based solutions.
During the course, you can expect to:
Explore best practices and design patterns to help you architect optimal IT solutions on AWS
Build and explore a variety of infrastructures through guided, hands-on activities
Learn to create fledgling architectures and build them into robust and adaptive solutions
