VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization 2024 [v2]

Overview

The VCP-NV 2024 certification verifies an individual's knowledge and skills in configuring, deploying, and managing VMware NSX environments, which are used to virtualise networking and security services. Job-roles associated with this certification include network administrators, virtualization administrators, and consultants.

Training and exams:

STEP 1: (Recommended) Gain experience with NSX solutions

STEP 2: (Recommended) Attend one of the following training courses:

• VMware NSX for Intrinsic Security [V4.x]

• VMware NSX: Install, Configure, Manage [V4.0]

• VMware NSX: Troubleshooting and Operations [V4.x]

• VMware NSX: Design [V4.x]

• VMware Cloud Director: Advanced Networking with NSX-T Data Center [V10.2]

• VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer: ICM plus Troubleshooting and Operations Fast Track [V20.x]

• VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer: Install, Configure, Manage [V21.x]

• VMware NSX-T Data Center: Install, Configure, Manage [V3.2]

STEP 3: (Required) Pass the following exam:

• VMware NSX 4.x Professional V2 (2V0 - 41.24) exam
