The ITIL® Managing Professional (MP) is one of three intermediate designations in the ITIL 4 certification scheme.
ITIL MP is comprised of these four modules:
Overview
ITIL Managing Professional (MP) targets IT practitioners working within technology and digital teams across businesses. The Managing Professional designation provides practical and technical knowledge about how to run successful IT projects, teams and workflows.
ITIL MP integrates the following modules:
ITIL Specialist, with three modules:
ITIL Strategist, with one module:
All modules are valuable independently but all four must be completed to obtain the ITIL Managing Professional designation.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of either ITIL 4 Foundation or v3 Foundation certification.
After achieving the ITIL Managing Professional designation, if the candidate is interested in pursuing the ITIL Strategic Leader (SL) designation, they would only need to complete the ITIL Leader: Digital and IT Strategy (DITS) module, as the DPI module is common to both designations.
