In 2015, they used public cloud offerings from organisations such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deliver the benefits and capabilities of cloud technologies with minimal technical, financial, and commercial risk.

Globe Telecom, a telecommunications company in the Philippines, changed its business and culture through company-wide cloud skills training that started in 2014 and continues until today. One idea that appeared from this is the GCash app, a fast and secure micropayment service. By 2020, 1 in 3 people in the country had the app. Beyond this, it enabled government and tax payments and ease of transactions for micro and small businesses.

But what IS the AWS culture of innovation about?

Which cloud certification is the best in 2022?

AWS Certified Solutions Architect tops the list of the best cloud certifications this year as curated by Enterprise Storage Forum. AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner placed 4th and 6th respectively.

In March of this year, AWS also launched new courses and updates to existing courses. With Cybersecurity becoming a big concern, a new four-part intermediate level series on security best practices. Getting started with AWS cloud training

How many months will it take to learn AWS certification?

Training ranges from 1-3 days but familiarisation, further practice and exams can take more time depending on the kind of certification. Training is often a mix of instructor-led training (ILT) and hands-on labs.

If you are embarking on innovation projects with your team, you can include how long it takes to learn AWS in your project preparation or actual project timeline.

Timelines depend on AWS certification pathways, but the range is one to four months. These include training days, familiarising yourself with the tools and practice time.

Learning AWS Cloud practitioner typically takes a month or a little more. If you are on the AWS Architect path, it takes a minimum of a month and a half. If you are on the AWS Developer path, it is two to three months. If you are learning AWS Operations, you can expect to spend three to four months.
