Understanding Google Cloud certifications
Google currently offers three levels of cloud certification:
associate, professional, and user.
Those new to Google Cloud are recommended to start their journey by pursuing an associate-level certification through a Google Cloud Certification Exam. Individuals are also recommended to have at least six months’ worth of experience building on Google Cloud technology.
For those pursuing the Professional certifications, it is recommended that you have at least three years of existing industry experience and at least one year of experience with Google Cloud products is encouraged.

Gain credentials in building scalable and highly available applications using Google recommended practices and tools that leverage fully managed services.
Professional Cloud Network Engineer
Demonstrate your ability to implement and manage network architectures in Google Cloud Platform, with a focus on cloud network certification. This requires at least a year of hands-on experience working with Google Cloud Platform and in projects for networking or in cloud teams with architects who design the infrastructure.
Professional Cloud Security Engineer
Validate your skills in enabling organisations to design and implement a secure infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. Showcase your understanding of security best practices and industry security requirements. This will affirm your competence as a cloud engineer in the industry.
Professional Data Engineer
Demonstrate your ability to enable data-driven decision making by collecting, transforming, and publishing data. Highlight your expertise in leveraging, deploying, and continuously training pre-existing machine learning models.
