Robotic Process Automation (RPA) leader, Blue Prism, has made DDLS their newest training partner in Australia.

With the arrival of the fourth industrial revolution, RPA is one of the foundation pillars for enterprise digital transformation as it hurtles towards a hyper-connected economy.

In a 2018 KPMG report, 53% of companies said that RPA would be a significant area of focus and investment in the next year, making it the number one area of focus for enterprises, ahead of Cloud (44%) and Internet of Things (41%).

RPA will completely shift the computing landscape, with one digital worker’s output being equivalent to three FTEs. However, it is the quality, scalability and agility that has more enterprises interested in RPA, with only 7% reporting a benefit being a reduction in FTE. Blue Prism predicts that more than 4 million robots will be performing office admin related tasks by 2021 – just three years from now.

“The addition of Blue Prism, and by virtue, RPA, to DDLS’s product stack only strengthens our ability to play a major role in digital transformation in Australia.”

DDLS CEO Jon Lang.

A 2019 McKinsey & Company report states that automation adoption through AI and robotics is an enormous opportunity to reignite momentum in Australia’s economy. While job loss is frequently touted as a casualty of automation, the findings show that there will be a shift in the workforce, with opportunities to learn new skills and occupy roles that are yet to be defined.

“Blue Prism have developed a global community of intelligent automation pioneers, innovators and developers and we are delighted that DDLS has become a part of our Australian network, “says Rob Mills, VP ANZ Blue Prism. “Expert training and education are critical components of any intelligent automation engagement. DDLS will help ensure more Australian organisations are able to realise the transformative potential Blue Prism’s technology delivers.”

DDLS will commence delivery of the Blue Prism Foundation course this month.
