Forbes magazine reported that self-awareness has been sited as a key attribute to determine leadership success and organisational profitability. For this reason, we have created a course to explore how to attain a greater level of self-awareness and tools available to make that happen.
We enquire into the theory of Cognitive Framing and the premise of how what we pay attention to creates the lens within which we experience the world around us. Participants will discover how this lens colours and shapes our behaviour. We also share tools to allow participants to change their view of situations and achieve greater personal effectiveness when relating to others.
There are many things we are unaware of surrounding how we behave. This session looks to open up the blind spots and learn new things about our personalities, how we like to operate and the way we interact with others.
We unpack research to support how practicing kindness, mindfulness and gratitude can move our perspective on life and improves our sense of well-being, makes us healthier and assists our performance both in and outside of work. Participants will walk away with practical tools to alter the way they view a situation or a person and the actions they take in tackling their challenges. These tools can also be taken away and shared back in the workplace to improve levels of self-awareness across the team.
This course is suitable for aspiring, emerging and current leaders, business owners, salespeople, volunteers and teammates seeking a greater understanding of themselves and how they operate. There is an optional qualification upgrade available.
This course is often delivered in two half-days instead of one full day.
