Why study this course

This five-day course is a detailed-level course covering logistics and maintenance topics in the SAP Defense and Security industry solution, which is relevant to defence, humanitarian aid and disaster relief, policing, and security organisations. Participants will learn the functionality and techniques of the SAP D&S, rather than customer-specific implementation know-how. It will show best practice approaches of SAP D&S using examples, while stressing the innovations in Defense Logistics in the SAP D&S solution.

The training includes system demonstrations, guided exercises, concept discussions, and enhance industry experience. In some parts of the training also customising topics will be discussed.

This course is suggested for those who plan to participate in implementation, rollout, and support of SAP D&S in the areas of Logistics Structures, Stock and Provisions, Personal and Functional Equipment, Maintenance Integration and Support of Flight Operations.

SAP S/4HANA Defense and Security - Organizational Flexibility (IDS20)

Recommended

Architectural level introduction to SAP S/4HANA, for example Integrated Business Processes in SAP S/4HANA (TS410) or SAP S/4HANA Overview (S4H00)

Note: This course does not require prior knowledge of the previous SAP DFPS solution. Customers who have trained in the past on SAP DFPS solution, particularly DFPS67 course, will find many of the concepts similar but the usage of D&S apps is new. However, this is not a delta training DFPS->D&S as the concepts are shown anew.
