Why study this course

The SAP Commerce Cloud is composed of a standard set of extensions providing base functionality for building e-commerce solutions. The course illustrates some of the basic functionalities and main concepts of SAP Commerce Cloud and helps participants understand what is out-of-the-box and what has to be implemented. This is targeted for software developers, software architects and technical consultants.

Participants will see the software demonstrated and will learn to install, configure and customise it to a certain degree. For each area presented in the course, participants will write a “hello world” application. This training focuses on the B2C Accelerator, and the implementation of a new storefront is the main theme through the entire training. It does not solve project specific problems, but it shows how to tackle most common tasks.

This course is valid for both the on-premise and cloud version of SAP Commerce Cloud. This course has been previously provided with the course code HY400.

If you are an SAP Commerce Cloud customer or partner, we recommend that you use your own machine for the best training experience. (System requirements: minimum Dual Core CPU (recommended Quad Core); minimum 8 GB RAM (recommended 16 GB); 7200 rpm IDE hard disk (recommended SSD) with 10 GB space (recommended 20 GB); most recent Java® 8 Development kit-64 bits). If you are not an official SAP partner or customer (NDA signed), you cannot access the Help Documentation as shown in this course. Accessing the Help Documentation is not a mandatory part of this course and therefore do not affect the educational value of the training.

This course is based on software release:

  • SAP Commerce Cloud 1811
