The entry point into ITIL certification for all students is ITIL 4 Foundation.

Students who are new to ITIL should sit the three-day ITIL 4 Foundation course, while students with at least 2-3 years of practical working experience in IT and Service Management may opt for Lumify Work's two-day ITIL 4 Foundation - Fast Track course.



ITIL 4 Certifications and Designations

The ITIL 4 Certification Scheme comprises three separate intermediate designations which may be pursued after passing ITIL 4 Foundation, and ultimately the ITIL Master designation.

To obtain the ITIL Managing Professional (MP) or ITIL Strategic Leader (SL) designation, the candidate must complete all modules in the designation, with Direct, Plan and Improve (DPI) being common to both.

To obtain the ITIL Practice Manager (PM) designation, the candidate must complete any 5 of the practice-based certifications and also hold Create, Deliver and Support (CDS) certification.

If all three designations are successfully attained, the candidate will be eligible to become an ITIL Master.
