Meet Adrian Smith – Lead Cloud Computing Trainer at Lumify Work
Adrian is our resident cloud computing expert and one of our senior technical instructors. He is experienced in several fields within the IT industry, having started in the IT industry by completing a B.Sc. in Computer Science. He has spent time working in Software Engineering, IT Management, Systems Design, Network Support and IT Training.
He brings his 39 years' breadth of IT experience to the classroom whenever he facilitates cloud computing training sessions. Adrian's qualifications as an IT practitioner are not just current, but also deeply rooted in his 39-year career. He holds the esteemed titles of MCSE in Microsoft 365 and Azure, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Google Cloud Architect, and ITIL 4, demonstrating his continuous commitment to staying at the forefront of the industry.
Adrian's passion for sharing knowledge is evident in his Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) role for over 28 years. Hailing from the UK, he has been imparting his expertise through official technical courses with Lumify Work in Australia. He is currently based in Perth, Western Australia. His courses, which cover various topics on the cloud, from Sys Ops to Advanced Architecture and from Security to AI, have inspired countless IT professionals.
Being an authorised AWS Champion Instructor and a Microsoft Certified Instructor, Adrian splits his time delivering official certified cloud training courses for both vendors.
Outside of work, being a married empty nester, Adrian is able to enjoy long beach walks with his rescue dog, numerous sports - when his body allows and DIY.
